Since 1999, BarkMag.com, an online-only Internet News Magazine with dog-focused feature articles is “The Voice of the Dog.” A truly green magazine, this quality information portal is a fresh daily treat for our ever-growing website visitors.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower dogs with a voice. That is, by providing you - the loving owners of pooches everywhere - with information, tools, news, tips, resources and much more, we become an advocate dogs and all that is involved in protecting them, teaching them, pampering them and loving them.
Here at BarkMagazine.com we believe that the word ‘Bark’ represents many things. Whether it be a ‘ruff,’ a ‘bow wow,’ or an ‘arff arff,’ a bark is your dog’s voice and our goal is to represent that voice in the best way possible by providing you with everything you need to know so that you and your furry friend are living the life much-desired.

Elizabeth A. Chase, Publisher:
A graduate of Boston University, The Pennsylvania State University and USC’s FastTrack Entrepreneur Training program, Liz translates her years of technology consulting to the next level with the newly redesigned BarkMagazine.com. A veteran of the ‘Dotcom Era’ she brings together networking and web production talents in this truly woof-terful online mag.
Some 17 years ago Liz realized a long-long dream ~ a dog of her own. Chela taught Liz many things, most of all – that living with dogs is a lifestyle which creates happiness. Today, Liz lives in Encino, California with her two dogs, Kashmir and the newest love of her life ~ little puppy, Chelita.
Heather Broeker, Editor:
Heather Broeker was raised and educated in North Carolina. At UNC-Chapel Hill she studied Journalism and Advertising before moving to Los Angeles to work in film production. As her love for writing grew, Heather began to explore freelance writing and pursued a return to her background in Advertising and Marketing.
In 2006 she moved to NYC where she worked as a Marketing Director for SalesGraphics – a company whose clients include Vanity Fair, Men’s Health, Field & Stream, Outdoor Life and much more. Alas, her love for the great outdoors brought her back to Los Angeles where she can enjoy surfing, skiing, hiking, biking and adventures in the great outdoors with Marley, the Shepard mix who Heather has deemed “her hero.”
