Washington, D.C. gets its 1st Legal Dog Park. Now that's something to cheer about!

It began in 2005 when the Washington, D.C. City council approved a new dog park bill.

Shaw park is a reality. Bark Magazine.com trusts our national capital will become a better home for our canine friends ... wonder if Barak will make a doggie park on the White House lawn ~ Fido.

EditorHB   |Administrator |2008-11-20 10:00:26 When I first moved to Los Angeles from North Carolina, the idea of a dog park didn't much make sense to me. I guess I didn't ever live in a big enough city, or where there wasn't a lot of open spaces for dogs to run and play, for a dog park to be necessary. Now, after living in LA and NYC, I know how important and how fun they are!!
